I remember Trisha and Sam's wedding as if it was yesterday. The warmth of a late August day and the feeling of getting to the hotel. I could feel a layback day ahead, where Trisha and Sam were ready to enjoy the day, laugh with their VIP, and have a hell of a good time. 

Well, I was right...

Trisha got ready at 1 Hotel Central Park. Where breathtaking views of the Park and Frankie - Trisha and Sam's fur partner - awaited to get the day started.

We attended a church ceremony at Church of Blessed Sacrament, to celebrate some Catholic and Filipino traditions. There is something so powerful about waiting to see your partner at the end of the aisle. The nerves are coming out, tears are hard to hold, and it creates a deep connection where it feels like the two of you are alone.

And finally, the reception was held at Central Park Zoo.

There is no doubt that there are a thousand incredible venues to get married in NYC. But some of them are exceptionally unique. 

Central Park Zoo can be one of the most incredible spaces to get married in NYC. The greenery and brick buildings make this little hidden spot in the south of Central Park one of the most photogenic spaces. 

Enjoy the open spaces, and dine with your favorite people with The Plaza and the midtown skyline as your backdrop.

Trisha and Sam crafted a wedding that truly represents them. Chill, layback, and absolutely stunning. 

Every little detail was thoughtfully created. The golden animal holders held a handwritten note for each of their guests. The gorgeous summer florals and the LOVE cake topper genuinely symbolized their love for New York City.

There was no surprise that the dance floor was full of great dancers, brave dancers, and tipsy dancers, making the end of the night truly magical.
