There's something quite magical about summer weddings that makes me feel both excited and emotional whenever I shoot one. Summer brings the happy air after a long winter in NYC. And the bright and genial personalities of couples who choose to say "I do" in the year's warmest season. A delightful mix of these for Jazzy and Josh's wedding created a memorable experience. Because when you work with two artists - Jazzy is a Broadway dancer and singer, and Josh is a great designer - you know that first, you have secured a great time with them, and secondly that the day will be beautiful and chill.
Their day was no exception, getting ready at the Whyte hotel in the heart of Williamsburg, where they had the cutest first look and some dope portraits around the streets with the most "Brooklyn feeling"
The reception was held at the Brooklyn Winery, a perfect space for a cozy, intimate affair. This place has the perfect combination of greenery and an industrial look. And the simple but breathtaking flowers by Pink Jazzmine Design made the whole space come together.
It's worth mentioning that they had one of the funniest Ceremonies I've seen in a while. Taking all their guest from tears to laughs within seconds.
The reception was intimate, full of conversations with all the guests, and many great speeches that kept the couple laughing at all times.
The day ended dancing the night out to the rhythm of one of the best DJs in NY - Mike Vosters.
Late snacks, candid, and Margaritas were served as the perfect closing of the night.
