If you know me you know how much I love things done differently, and Vanessa and Nate’s day was seriously unlike any wedding I’ve ever been a part of, and I absolutely loved it.

Okay, so picture this: the bride, Vanessa, had this vision of her wedding being like a big pizza party. I mean, how cool is that? She wanted a small, intimate affair with just 30 guests and a ton of delicious pizza. And let me tell you, it was perfection.

Originally, Vanessa had planned on having the ceremony in a park and then heading to a nearby pizzeria for the reception. But plans changed, like many things in life, and the wedding ended up being held at the stunning The Bordone LIC. It had the most amazing views of the city, and it made for such a beautiful backdrop.

The ceremony itself was officiated by one of their close friends, which added such a meaningful touch to the whole day.

And can we talk about Vanessa’s outfit? She wore this super badass jumpsuit from Tadashi Shoji Bridal, and she totally rocked it. It was perfect for her and the vibe of the wedding.

I always say that your wedding day should be all about you and what you love, and Vanessa and Nate really embodied that. They thought outside the box and created a day that truly reflected their personalities. It was so refreshing to see.

I have to say, photographing V+N’s wedding was such an incredible experience. It was my first intimate wedding of 2020, and I couldn’t have asked for a better start.

So, to Vanessa and Nate, I want to say a huge congratulations! I wish you both all the happiness in the world. You guys really know how to throw a party, and I’m so grateful that I got to be a part of it.

Alright, that’s all for now, my friend. I’ll catch you later!

I feel photography it's been in my life before I was even conscious of it.

One of my clearest childhood memories was watching my mom set up her film camera and give it to my dad so she could have some nice photos with us.
I remember being surrounded by cameras and film rolls, and I can say now that I'm one of the luckiest persons to have many photographs of my childhood before cell phones with cameras were a thing.

Now that I'm a gown up, I appreciate the beautiful work my mother did to document my life, how precious those memories are, those moments that won't be back, but they'll live forever on her albums and polaroids.

I have spent the last seven years getting to know new humans and documenting their stories and relationships. How they got into that point of their life, and what makes them light up. I feel it is quite a responsibility and a significant honor to be able to create this legacy for them.
